Rheumatoid Arthritis Natural Remedies
Rheumatoid arthritis is an auto-immune disease and it affects both sides of the body at same time. It causes pain and swelling in joints of hands and feet. It decreases the strength of muscles and causes soreness in joints. Rheumatoid arthritis occurs when the immune system becomes sensitive.
Eggplants are very useful in treating Rheumatoid arthritis. Cook one or two eggplants in the oven and add castor oil, coriander leaves, turmeric, garlic and salt in it. Eat eggplants once in a day (preferably in the morning) for three months. Turmeric is also very good for the patients of this disease. Patients are advised to consume half a spoon of turmeric with warm water. Lemon water with salt is also good for rheumatoid arthritis patients in itself.
Garlic is also very beneficial in curing rheumatoid arthritis. Fry garlic in milk butter and eat it at night before going to sleep. It is also helpful in improving digestion. Gugglu herb is also helpful. Herbalists suggest eating gugglu after every meal with warm water. You can add a little amount of honey in it for taste.
Everyone eats red chilies in food but for rheumatoid arthritis patients red chili paste with sesame oil and fresh ginger is very useful. A gentle massage of this paste on the joints provides assistance. Similarly a paste of camphor, wintergreen and cinnamon oil can also be used for massage.
Use of cinnamon herb with honey is magical for curing rheumatoid arthritis. Paste of one spoon of honey and half spoon of cinnamon herb powder is suggested to be eaten daily empty stomach in the morning for better results.
Coconut water, coconut milk and coconut oil are also good for relief. A good amount of vegetables and fruits should be the part of diet of rheumatoid arthritis patients. Carrot juice, beetroot juice, cucumber juice etc are good for treating this disease. Pulses should be an important part of diet. In India Khichadi is advised to such patients, as it is a mixture of Mung Dal (pulses) and rice. For better results you can add coriander leaves, jeera, azwain, garlic, cumin and then cook it.
Omega-3 fatty acid is a kind of fat that our body needs for proper working, but cannot make it fat on its own. Fish like salmon fish, sardine fish and anchovies fish are a good source of omega 3 acid. Fish oil capsules are also available in the market for those who don’t like to eat fish. Flax seed oil is also a rich source of omega-3 fatty acid.
Boswellia herb is also very effective in curing this disease. Boil boswellia herb in water and drink this water with honey. Boswellia capsules and pills are also available in market. Due to it anti-inflammatory properties this herb helps in giving relief and blocks irritations and infections. The paste of boswellia acts as a pain reliever ointment. Three months intake of boswellia is advised.
