Natural Remedies For Stretch Marks
Stretches marks may be caused because of rapid fluctuations in weight through the dieting or weight gained during pregnancy. Once these marks are formed, no cosmetic or treatment can cure this problem. These may fade but will never disappear with time. Some herbal and natural remedies are quite effective to cure this ailment.
The holy basil: It can prevent the bleeding of tissue, stretch marks and scarring which will occur during the pregnancy time. It is a panacea to cure all kinds of skin ailment including stretch marks. It should be taken regularly two to three leaves in a day to keep away this disease.
The Gotu kola: It is an Indian herb which is getting popularity in the foreign countries also to heal this problem. It is used in other cosmetic problems of the skin. It helps to heal wounds and prevent marks.
Lavender oil: This oil is very useful to apply on marks and it will fade up the marks quickly. It is one of the simplest natural remedies to cure this ailment. Try to rub it on the marks at least three times a day.
Castor oil: It is very effective oil to cure marks and it should be rubbed on the marks to cure these marks. It is traditionally used in Egypt for getting healthy skin.
Avocado, sweet almond and jojoba: Make a mixture of these oils adding five drops of lavender and chamomile drops and apply it on the marks to treat it quickly. This mixture will at least reduce the marks if not erase completely.
Cocoa butter: This is good remedy to prevent marks and try to use it all over the body if the women are pregnant, to stop it to appear on the body. It is useful because it penetrates the upper layer of skin and can reaches to the dermis. Natural elements found in cocoa butter repairs the damaged skin.
Ground coffee beans: Make a powder of coffee beans and mix moisturizer cream to apply on the marks to erase it. This cream will cure this ailment quite easily even after the pregnancy.
Indian Madder (Rubia cordifolia): It is very useful to prevent skin problem and cure marks. It is really effective to treat many types of skin problems. It is also useful in dermatitis.
Indian Margosa (Azadirachta indica): It is neem which is traditionally used in India to treat skin problems. It prevents itches, and marks can be cured completely. It has anti-fungal, antiviral and antibacterial properties. Its oil can be used or its leaves can be boiled in water and this water can be applied to skin for treatment purpose.
Sandalwood (Chandana): It is traditionally used in India for skin care. It gives cooling effect on the skin to protect the skin from stretching particularly during the pregnancy period. Apply the paste of it prepared with rose water.
Aloe Vera: Aloe vera has given great results in clinical studies that it can heal wounds and many other skin problems. Stretch marks are microscopic tears. Aloe vera heals this and treat this problem of marks. It should be used regularly to erase these marks.
