Cellulitis occurs due to an inflammation of connective tissues. It may be due to the toxins which the body is unable to eliminate. The swelling of tissues appear as orange peel to give grating sensation to cause problems of unbearable ailments. It can spread bacterial infection of the skin and tissue beneath the skin. Redness, pain and tenderness over the skin are the some of the symptoms of this disease. Some natural or herbal treatment are very effective to treat it.
Garlic (Allium sativum): This herb has got antibacterial quality to heal this disease. It can be consumed in raw from by taking three cloves in a day in the morning with water or oil capsules may also be taken to get relief from this ailment.
Cleavers (Galium aparine): It is an anti-inflammatory to be consumed internally to support lymphatic system to flush out toxins. It can also be applied directly onto the skin to get results. It is easily available in capsules form in the market.
Goldenseal (Hydrastis canadensis): This is wonderful herb to fight infection and to reduce inflammation. It may be consumed internally in the form of capsules twice in day to heal this ailment. A paste can also be made to be applied onto the skin to heal this problem. The affected area should be covered with bandaged to be left for overnight to see the results.
Echinacea (Echinacea spp): This herb has got antibiotic properties to cure the problem of skin. It can strengthen the immune system. It can be taken internally to cure this ailment in the form of capsules at least twice in a day to get relief.
Thyme (Thymus vulgaris): It is an antibacterial to prevent scars on the skin. One to two gm daily can be taken in divided dose. Its oil is not recommended because it may be toxic.
Tea Tree Oil: It is antibacterial, anti-fungal and very effective and fast acting. The oil may be applied directly on the skin infection to heal this problem.
Lavender And Bergamot: The oils of these herbs have got antibacterial properties to prevent the skin infection that may cause scars. These oils may be added in the water to apply onto the affected area to get relief from this ailment.
(Lavandula officinalis), (Citrus bergamot): These oils are believed to have antibacterial properties and may help to prevent the scarring that may result from skin infections. A few drops of these oils should be added to water and applied to the affected area.
Yarrow (Achillea millefolium): It is an approved herb in England for treatment of skin infections and inflammation. It is applied topically. Put 100 g of herb per 5 gallons of warm or hot water for a sitz bath.
