The goodness of Neem: Fungal infection is a common cause of dandruff and other scalp problems; Neem is an excellent natural fungicidal hence it is an effective remedy in treating itchy scalp. Mix neem oil and olive oil in equal proportions and apply it on your scalp regularly.
Tea tree oil and aloe vera: Tea tree oil is known for its anti-bacterial properties, applying aloe vera gel mixed with tea tree oil on the scalp fifteen minutes before shampoo can give a day long relief from itchy scalp.
Almond oil and olive oil: Almond oil is considered highly beneficial on dandruff and olive oil is a known remedy for dry scalp; thus a mixture of olive oil and almond oil is promising remedy for itchy scalp. Warm this mixture and massage genteelly for 15 minutes for better results.
Curd and lemon juice: A mixture of curd and lemon juice is one of the most popular natural home remedies for Itchy Scalp, regular application of this mixture on your scalp gives relief from itching as well as helps in reducing dandruff.
Fenugreek seeds paste is one well-known remedy for itchy scalp. Soak a handful of fenugreek seeds in water and leave it overnight. Make a paste of it, for better results you can also consider using vinegar as a base. Apply the paste on your scalp and wash off after half hour.
Peppermint oil can be effective on dry scalp, add two drops of peppermint oil in a cup of warm water and massaged your scalp gently

Soap nuts are an excellent natural remedy for itchy scalp. Simply soak in water and allow them to soak overnight. In the morning, wash your hair with it. This should be done twice a week for a total of fifteen days. After the first fifteen days, you can begin to do this treatment once weekly.
