Natural Remedies For Stomach Ulcer
Stomach ulcer is caused by the acids that eat away at the stomach lining. Small sores are opened inside the intestines to cause moderate to severe gastric distress or bleeding. It may also be caused by the regular use of aspirin and ibuprofen medicine. The bacteria named H Pylori is found in most people which can cause this ulcer. Spicy foods may also produce ulcer. There are natural remedies which can cure it effectively without any side effects.
Banana: Banana is one of the best remedies of ulcer. It can neutralize the over-acidity and eliminate the bacteria that causes ulcer. Take two bananas with a glass of milk and it should be taken three to four times in a day in case of advanced state of this problem.
Cabbage: It is one of the useful remedies to cure stomach ulcer. Take 250 gm.of cabbage to be boiled in 500 ml of water till it is left half and let it cool down to take twice in a day to get relief. The juice which is extracted from raw cabbage is more valuable, drink one liter of fresh cabbage juice in three divided dose each day to get a quick relief.
Fenugreek Seeds: The liquid extract and a gel fraction derived from the seeds showed substantial ulcer protective properties. A tea may be made from these seeds to drink to cure this ailment. These seeds become mucilaginous after moistened with water, which works as protecting coating to the intestines. It may be taken twice in a day .
Wood Apple: Try to soak fifteen grams of leaves of wood apple overnight in 250 ml.of water to be taken after straining in the morning to cure it. A few weeks treatment will provide relief from pain and discomfort. It is very effective treatment for this problem. Juice extract of leaves can also be taken to cure stomach ulcer.
Lime: Lime contains flavonoids which has antioxidants, anti-carcinogenics properties. It is antibiotics, and detoxifier also and provides healing help to peptic ulcer. This fruit contains citric acid which is mixed with mineral salt to help in digestion and treat this ailment quickly. Two tsp of lime juice can be taken twice or thrice daily.
Drumstick Vegetable: Drumstick leaves are effective remedy for peptic ulcer. Make a paste of fifteen to twenty leaves of drumstick and mix some fresh curd. Take this two to three times a day.
Almond Milk: It is useful remedy to cure ulcer. Blanched almond with milk binds the excess of acid in the stomach to treat this. Make a paste of blanched almonds soaked overnight and mix with 250 ml of milk to take daily.
Goat’s Milk: It is highly useful to cure this disease. A glass of goat’s milk may be taken in raw state thrice a day to get healing quickly.
