Obesity is a very common problem of people of all ages, particularly of those who belong to the middle age people. It is not a disease but is a condition that becomes fertile ground for many diseases like heart problems, knee problem, diabetes, liver dysfunction, kidney failure, arthritis, stress on gall bladder and many more. Technically, excessive accumulation of fat in the adipose tissues of our body causes obesity.
In an obese body condition, a man can’t work efficiently and quickly. Lime juice is very good for those who want to overcome obesity. Intake of one glass lime juice by squeezing 2 lemons without adding sugar or salt can help you in reducing weight. Do some exercise that your body readily allows. At breakfast, you should drink one glass of milk or juice with simple chapatti and sprouts.
Salad and curd are essential for those who are interested in reducing body weight quickly. Prefer eating fruit and vegetable salad at lunch. Carrot, cucumber, apple, guava, tomato, cabbage, beet root etc. should be a part of your salad. Lemon tea is also very useful in this regard. At evening, you should eat some fruits or drink fruit juice.
A glass of milk with apple is also a good choice in this case. Don’t go on dieting because it can cause physical weakness. At night, you should eat chapatti with any vegetable. Strictly avoid oily food. Seasonal fruit should be the essential part of your dinner. Prefer to drink a cup of milk again for sound sleep.
Mint is very helpful in reducing obesity. Mint tea or a paste of mint by adding onion, chilly, coriander, garlic, black pepper, cinnamon etc. is very useful in lessening body weight. You can add honey in this chutney or paste for reducing its bitterness. Honey in itself is also helpful in regulating fat deposits.
Guggul (Commiphora mukul) is a useful herb in dealing with the problem of obesity. It helps in lowering down the cholesterol level and removes fat deposits in a shorter period of time. Licorice (glycyrrhiza glabra) root is also helpful in regulating blood sugar level and in reducing body weight. Tea of glycyrrhiza glabra is very useful. Aloe Vera juice comes in handy for improving digestion and it also helps reduce obesity.
Tri-fruit or triphala is very effective in dealing with this problem. It improves digestion and encourages normal appetite. It is also helpful in treating the problem of anemia as it increases red blood cells and hemoglobin.
