Health Benefits Of Essential Oils
Essential oils are oils harvested from plants. The best oils are from plants grown organically which are free from pesticides and other harmful chemicals. The oils contain oxygen molecules which promote healing and strengthen the immune system. They are also endowed with an electrical energy which is in the form of bioelectric frequencies. These frequencies are higher than the natural frequencies of the body and destroy disease fungus, bacteria and virus.
The quickest way to get the oils into your body is by inhaling them. Eight to ten drops of oil can be put on a tissue and inhaled. Another way is to put a few drops in hot water and breathe in the fragrant vapour. This will clear the sinuses as well.
The oils can be spread in a large area through a diffuser. It is a piece of equipment which mixes the oil with water and sprays it in a room. The fragrance of the oils is spread in the entire area and its healing oxygen molecules are released and can be inhaled easily. Airborne bacteria are also killed and the effect of harmful chemicals present is reduced. This cleansing will take about twenty minutes. Use only one essential oil at a time in the diffuser and clean it before using any other oil. The diffusers can be bought at any health store.
Three to four drops of oil can be applied directly to sensitive parts of the body like the toes and the neck. These delicate areas are more receptive to bioelectrical frequencies of the oils. The ears can be massaged with the oils when emotional healing is required. A few drops can be put on the wrist or pulse points for fragrance and day long benefit.
The relaxing property of hot water can be combined with the healing properties of essential oils by adding about ten drops of oil in the bath tub. This will perfume your body too. If you are taking a shower, add a few drops to your body sponge so that you are covered from head to toe with the oil.
Another way to use the oils is by getting a massage with the oils. Just as the massage gets completed, cover the body with a towel dipped in hot water and wrung. The heat will help the skin to absorb the oils. If you have time then you could try a compress of essential oils. Take a few mugs of hot water and add some drops of oil to it. Soak a towel in it and cover your body with it. Put two dry towels on top of the wet towel and leave for a few hours for maximum benefit.
Oils like oil of lemon have antibacterial properties and can be used in the dish washer and while washing clothes. Buy the purest oil possible although it may be a bit expensive. Do not compromise with your health.
